ALIEN POSTER by ArkadeBurt ALIEN POSTER by ArkadeBurt
This started as a lunchtime scribble of Ripley on my Cintique at work, and when i started playing around with lighting and the idea of the shadow i thought it was going pretty well so worked it up into a pinup.

PS - I've updated this with a very slightly tweaked version , more inline with the other 2 prints in the trilogy

The cat in the carrier is equal parts hilarious and awesome.

My friend liked the picture of all 3 next to each other to me a few days ago. AMAZING! I love the shadow!

You did a great job getting the tone of the movie with your use of color and shadow. And Jones! I love it.

I looove the way in which you use the shadow to portray the alien.

Hi, I found your work through a post on the Blu-ray.com-forums.
I love how you also worked Jonesy in there, cause in a way he was my favorite thing about the movie. :P
But I like the artwork, because clearly we can all recognize it.

I was also saying, how this should be made into a comic.
Maybe you could even literally do the movie, almost shot by shot, or at least a scene.
The style is not the most dark and realistic of course, but I think it would work.
